Speed Watch needs new volunteers

Thursday 22 September 2016

To complement the Speed Watch activity and deter drivers from speeding through the area the Parish Council with support from Staffordshire County Council has purchased a radar device that flashes the speed you are travelling at every driver that goes past it and counts the number of vehicles. This will be put up in various locations around the parish to deter speeding. So far it has been on A53 going out of Loggerheads and Mucklestone Road. It will be going to Knighton, Mucklestone and Ashley in near future.

We are still looking for more volunteers to operate the Speed Watch equipment. So, if you have some free time please contact the Clerk to offer your services.
