New Speed Watch signs

The Loggerheads Speedwatch volunteers will no longer put out temporary signs telling drivers that they are monitoring the speed of vehicles. The requirement for warning signs has been recently removed by Staffordshire Police. This applies where all the speed monitoring sites are within the village boundaries, and there are signs warning that you are entering a Community Speedwatch Area.
Commemorative Soldier on the move

The Parish Council is moving the commemorative soldier to different sites around the Parish. This month he is in the grounds of St Johns church in Ashley
Neighbourhood Plan Referendum result

887 voted at the referendum on 10th January, that is 25% of those who could vote. 91% of you said YES. Thank you to the Neighbourhood Plan Group for all their hard work and persistence since 2015 and thanks to the residents for voting the plan in.

Beacon Lighting on 11th November attended by over 400 residents

On 11th November 2018 at 7pm over 400 residents joined together to commemorate the end of WW1 with a beacon lighting. Thanks go to all those who attended and to those who helped make the event memorable: Peter Shone and the Community Choir, Reverends Sara Humphries and Terry Williams, the buglers Jenny Cresswell and Jason Ravenhill, Ed Martin for use of the farm, Loggerheads fire crew, and Ian Noden at I N Fabrications Ltd in Market Drayton for the beacon.
